- Taiwan CDC (6 Mar 2021): HIV medicine for people with the national card is paid by CDC for the first two years, then by NHI. Registration, meals, room upgrades, and illnesses that are not HIV are not in that subsidy. This is HIV treatment, not an STI test or PrEP price. Call 1922.
- Visitor / self-pay
- Taiwan CDC (6 Mar 2021): HIV treatment is subsidised only for some legal residents (a foreign spouse, the Thai–Myanmar project, Tibetans in Taiwan, or someone infected during care here). Others on that page pay about NT$200,000 a year for the first two years. A 2026 support plan is on the CDC site; this card has not opened that PDF. Call 1922. Not an STI-test or PrEP price.
From the price source linked here. It can change. Call before you go.
Public hospital or health centre — fees follow national coverage. Other nationalities may pay. Call before you travel.
